West Bend is the place to be this season! Fun fall events this month are just a warm-up for some great holiday-themed events that are coming in November. Here’s a sample of what’s happening in West Bend:
Fall Fest, Friday, October 16
This event provides some early Halloween fun for kids. Dress in your Halloween best and trick or treat downtown. Look for pumpkins in the windows of participating businesses. Fall fest runs from 5-7 p.m.
Downtown Dash, Oct. 18
Lace up your shoes for this fun downtown 5K race. The race is professionally chip timed. It benefits the Downtown West Bend Association and some of the signature events the association holds. The race has awards for top finishers and prizes for the top three Halloween costumes.
Bloomin? Holidaze at MOWA, Nov. 13, 14 and 15
The Museum of Wisconsin Art is hosting a festive market that showcases some unique holiday items while bringing some festive holiday cheer to the community. The event includes flora and fauna workshops, artist demonstrations, music, refreshments, art projects and more.
Holiday Craft Fair of Washington County, Nov. 21
More than 100 top-quality exhibitors will display their handmade wares at this festive annual show. Discover beautiful items for everyone on your shopping list.
Enchantment in the Park, Nov. 29-Dec. 31
This holiday tradition brings a spectacle of light displays, music and performance art to Regner Park. The displays feature more than a half million lights and the event raises money for area nonprofits.
