West Bend Summer Concert SeriesPublished: June 4, 2015
Summer in West Bend is a time to enjoy the outdoors and while there are plenty of opportunities for hiking and biking, sometimes it’s nice to just sit back, relax and enjoy a warm summer evening.
Enter Music on Main. This summer concert series, held every Thursday from 6:30-9:30pm through August 27, is a city-wide favorite. Held in Old Settler’s Park in downtown West Bend, you can enjoy food and drinks (no carry-in alcohol), free admission and even an indoor spot for the concert when Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate. All you need to do is bring your lawnchair.
You’ll be treated to a different band every week, in a variety of genres, from classic rock to country to reggae and pop. Come on July 23rd and enjoy the comedic tunes of national performer Pat McCurdy!
On August 27th, Music on Main moves to the West Bend Germanfest grounds (5th and Walnut), transforming to Musik Off Main, from 6-10pm. The evening will feature Saving Savannah, a Milwaukee-based band which claims to “fuse modern & outlaw country, Americana, roots, reggae, rock and pop.”
Make a long weekend of it next time you’re in town! Find out more about Music on Main, as well as a complete list of acts, here.
