This 370-acre property on the Milwaukee River is one of the largest nature centers in southeast Wisconsin. It’s a “learning laboratory” that provides educational opportunities through its rich biodiversity. The property features more than 10 miles of trails, including trails groomed for cross-country skiing, and a full mile of Milwaukee River shoreline. Choose from seven loops ranging from .75 miles to 3.5 miles.
There’s also a special area for snowshoeing. The center is located about 8 miles east of West Bend in Saukville. The center’s trails are open dawn to dusk.
