Winter fun at MOWA
The Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA) feature’s the largest collection of Wisconsin Art and the most complete collection of Milwaukee-born artist Carl von Marr. But this is a museum that offers more than just compelling art – the museum offers ongoing programming for art lovers of all ages. Events happen throughout the year and there are always new events on the calendar. It’s a good idea to check out the MOWA website when you’re looking for a fun and creative indoor activity.
Here’s a sample of what’s happening in coming weeks:
- On Dec. 20 young artists are invited to bring their favorite musinal instruments for a Special Mini Masters Musical Edition.
- From Dec. 27-29 there will be a Become a Wisconsin Artist Winter Break Camp for children 17 and under.
- On Dec. 31, ring in the New Year at MOWQA with a Special Studio Saturdays New Years Party.
