Carry-out dining options allow you to enjoy a delicious meal safely. Here’s a guide to some of West Bend’s tastiest dining spots.
Bigger, better burgers
Feeling hungry? Head just north of West Bend to Jug’s Hitching Post. At Jug’s they don’t just serve up delicious burgers—they serve GIANT delicious burgers. How big are these burgers? Try the one-pound cheeseburger on for size. It’s made with certified Angus beef and your choice of cheese. Bacon is optional—although on a burger like this, it’s best to go all in. You won’t regret a single bite! On Mondays, burgers and chicken sandwiches are buy one, get one free for dine-in orders. Other good bets at Jug’s include the pizza and the Friday fish fry.
Flames and flair
Is there anything more fun than a hibachi grill? Ninja Japanese Steakhouse serves made-to-order specialty Japanese cuisine and unique sushi creations. But the star of the show is the grill—talented chefs serve up all the classics, with plenty of flames and all the knife skills. Grab a seat and prepare to be impressed. If you’re not into hibachi, the restaurant offers a full menu, including Bento Box dinners, stir-fried noodles and more.
If you don’t like delicious fall-off-the-bone barbeque, stay away from Billy Sims Barbecue. This popular chain has a West Bend location that serves up all the smoked delights. The food here is as legendary as the namesake. There’s a lot to choose from, including brisket, ribs, and pulled pork. They even smoke the potatoes! Take-home packs are perfect for game days—or any day!
If there are two must-sample delights in Wisconsin, they are local beer and cheese curds. The West Bend Tap & Tavern serves up some of the best. The curds are served with marinara, and the carefully curated beer menu includes local, regional and national options, including IPAs, ales, lagers and ciders. There’s also a lot to love on the dining menu, including street tacos, crab cakes and chicken penne pasta.
