Get outside

West Bend is home to some beautiful southeastern Wisconsin scenery. Head out of town and take a hike along the 25-mile Eisenbahn State Trail. Or, lace up your shoes and explore the Glacial Blue Hills Recreation Area or the Northern Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest.

On those warm days, grab your beach blanket and head to Regner Park to cool off.

Another great way to get outside? Take a stroll along the West Bend Sculpture Walk, part of West Bend’s scenic Riverwalk. Marvel at more than 40 outdoor sculptures from local, national and international artists.

Save the date

West Bend’s summer calendar is filled with fun events. The farmers market runs every Saturday through October, and Music on Main welcomes performers to Old Settlers Park downtown every Thursday.

Grab a bite

Looking for pizza or a craft beer? Frozen custard or a classic supper club? Discover the dozens of restaurants that call West Bend home and enjoy delicious, made-to-order meals at any time.

Go on a shopping spree

What’s a summer getaway without a few souvenirs? Leave a little extra room in your suitcase for all the great finds you’ll discover at West Bend’s friendly retailers. Make an afternoon out of it—our charming downtown is perfect for a mid-summer stroll.

Head out on a high-tech treasure hunt

West Bend isn’t known as the Geocaching Capital of the Midwest® for nothing. (Quick definition: Geocaching means using your phone or another GPS device to track down hidden treasures, or “caches.”) There are more than 1,600 caches in a 10-mile radius of downtown, and avid adventurers can track down the 20 caches that are part of the West Bend Four Seasons GeoTour.

Don’t annual West Bend $1,000 Cache Ba$h, which attracts more than 700 teams from locales around the world. The Cache Ba$h also features geocaching vendors and special classes, and there are even new geocaches created for the event.
