Start your Independence Day with a lively parade at 9:30 a.m., traversing Downtown West Bend. Head over to Regner Park around 11 a.m. for the beloved annual Kiwanis Duck Derby. Conclude your evening with a breathtaking firework show at 9 p.m. at Riverside Park. It’s a day packed with festivities and community joy!
Join Roots and Branches for the annual Garden of West Bend Tour Saturday, July 13th, 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. and Sunday, July 14th, 12 p.m.- 3 p.m. This self-guided tour will take you around local private gardens, rain or shine! Tickets $10 in advance, $12 day of. Purchase tickets here.
The HomeTown Foundation is hosting the HomeGrown Music Concert in Regner Park. Get ready to experience the best of all genres of original, Wisconsin-made music. Join the West Bend Friends of Parks and Recreation for German Night at Regner Park, taking place from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Indulge in live music, food, and entertainment. The River City Blaskaplle will hit the stage from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by Copperbox from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Don’t miss out on this opportunity for an unforgettable experience filled with joy and merriment!
The West Bend Friends of Parks and Recreation is hosting Regner Fest, scheduled for Friday, July 19th, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday, July 20th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy performances by Brecken Miles and Milwaukee Tool Shed on Friday, followed by Buckshot on Saturday.
Throughout Saturday, a variety of activities await, including face painting, wacky hair styling, bounce houses, and engaging activity tents. In addition to the entertainment lineup, attendees can indulge in a wide array of food and beverage options.
The Dirty Ninja Mud Run for Kids™ is celebrating its tenth anniversary! The run has grown from 583 participants in its first year to 2,443 in 2023! Don’t miss the ultimate outdoor obstacle course—equipped with mud pits, climbing and crawling elements, and a water slide!
The Mud Run is designed for youth ages 4–15. Course length is adjusted for each age group.
Each participant receives an event packet with custom headband, t-shirt, coupon for lunch, wristband to wear to line up for the run and course maps. Packets are also filled with offers and gifts from our sponsors. Show dated wristband to a Beach House Attendant for free swimming at Regner Park Beach after the run.
