Let West Bend Light Up Your Holiday Season

Published: December 1, 2025 | Article Views: 194

If you are looking to make your Christmas merry and bright – in a literal way – West Bend has you covered! With December upon us, snow on the ground, and festive décor lighting up the streets, it’s the perfect time to explore our city and soak up the holiday spirit.

This year, West Bend offers not one, but two dazzling ways to light up your season: our Holiday Lights driving map and the iconic Enchantment in the Park.

Take a Holiday Drive Around Town

Nothing puts you in the holiday mood quite like driving past homes glowing with Christmas décor. This year, Visit West Bend has created a Holiday Lights Driving Map to guide you to the best displays in town. A cozy holiday drive pairs perfectly with an evening at The Bend, an afternoon of downtown shopping, or simply a night out to enjoy the sights and sounds of the season.

One million-plus LED Lights Fill Regner with Enchantment

For more than 15 years, Enchantment in the Park has been Washington County’s premier holiday lights event. Founded in 2009 by the West Bend Sunrise Rotary, the event has given back more than $465,000 over the years to local nonprofits, Rotary clubs, and food pantries—making it a celebration with heart.

A Community Effort

  • Volunteers power the magic: Each year, around 775 volunteers contribute over 4,600 hours to set up, operate, and pack up the event.
  • Generosity in action: Enchantment has donated over 322,000 pounds of food to local pantries and hundreds of thousands of dollars to area nonprofits, including Family Promise and Washington County food pantries.
  • Sustainable sparkle: The event uses low-voltage LED lights, minimizing energy use while dazzling visitors with more than one million lights across the park.

What to Expect

Visitors can enjoy drive-thru entrances from Silverbrook Drive or walk-thru access from Main Street. The drive-thru route allows you to experience the full display from the comfort of your car, while walk-thru visitors enjoy a shorter—but still magical—path. Keep an eye out for special appearances from Santa or live musicians on select evenings: Enchantment Event Schedule.

Suggested donations of $20 or more (via cash, check, or Venmo) help sustain the event, grow the lights collection, and support local volunteer organizations. Guests are also encouraged to bring nonperishable food donations to help fill Washington County food pantries.
