The 145-acre preserve sits in the heart of the Kettle Moraine, with lush landscapes, rolling hills, and beautiful lakes and wetlands. The natural beauty sets the scene, but Lac Lawrann is far from just a pretty picture. The Conservancy has all you’ll need for a charming rural wedding venue without breaking the bank.

The Setting

The buildings on the Lac Lawrann grounds provide the ideal mix of rustic views and modern amenities to make your celebration memorable. The renovated 1860s Barn is the wedding hall centerpiece, with room for 225 people seated comfortably indoors and lighting to set perfect mood. Right next to the barn is the Maurin Center, an indoor facility perfect for rehearsal dinners, brunch, or other small gatherings, with a full-serving kitchen, A/V equipment, and indoor restrooms.

You certainly won’t need to stress over pictures. The Barn and Maurin Center are located right at the LLC trailhead, and a short walk brings you into the heart of the woods. Walk a few minutes down the Lake Loop trail to set the scene for a magical photoshoot. Trees line the wide, well-groomed paths, and a pier looks out over the water, with the lush forest in the background. Step outside the woods for additional photo ops outside the historic farmhouse volunteer center, with its Cream-City brick and flower beds.

Lac Lawrann is a blank canvas, allowing you to create your wedding exactly how you want it. Outdoor ceremonies, rustic barn receptions, intimate rehearsal dinners in the Maurin Center, or however you want to celebrate, the Conservancy is the perfect venue.

The LLC wedding package grants you full access to the property for the entire weekend (Friday through Sunday), perfect for set-up, rehearsal, and preparations. Book your wedding and secure the 1860s Barn and Maurin Center, tables and chairs, audio/visual equipment sound permit, a spacious parking lot, all for a $3,000 flat rate. It’s a flexible, affordable option to let you craft a dream wedding that fits your unique needs. At Lac Lawrann, you’ll be given the freedom to choose your own food, drinks, music, décor, and more. Allow your creativity to take flight!

Wedding packages are available up to 18 months in advance, or 24 months with an additional $500 fee. Browse available weekends to pick the perfect date for your ceremony.
