Back On Main Spotlights (1)
Who says New Year’s resolutions have to be boring? Forget diets, workouts, or reducing screen time–at Visit West Bend we want to help you resolve to have some fun and make memories in West Bend! Here’s a list of all the things you could try.
Get a Beer Poked at Bockfest
Celebrate the end of winter on Saturday, March 1 with a beer and polka party you’ll never forget! Tickets are on sale now for Bockfest 2025 in Regner Park. Each $15 ticket purchase includes event admission, a custom 25 oz. beer stein, and $5 in Bock Bucks to spend in West Bend the weekend of the event. Book your stay in one of our hotels and score an event discount!
Experience Wisconsin’s best Farmers Market
Of course we think our Farmers Market is the best in the state, but don’t just take it from us! The American Farmland Trust poll has voted us #1 in Wisconsin for three years running, and we’re not planning to slow down. The market runs every Saturday from May 24-October 25 from 7:30-11 a.m. on Downtown Main Street. See you there!
Hike the Ice Age Trail
West Bend hosts a beautiful segment of the renowned Ice Age National Scenic Trail, a great way to get some hiking in no matter the season. Our segment stretches 6.7 miles, but you can take it in chunks by starting in the center at Ridge Run Park! No matter where you start, the trail will take you through glacier-cut hills and kettles, across ponds and rivers, and across the brand-new boardwalk just south of Highway 33. Grab your boots, a friend, and your dog, and set out on the trail!
See the Museum of Wisconsin Art
West Bend is home to the one-of-a-kind museum showcasing the work of Wisconsin artists. Their rotating exhibits and favorite pieces offer a new experience each time you visit, and every visitor is automatically a member, granting access for a full year! There’s no better time to visit than Art & Chalk Fest weekend in August. Museum admission is free all weekend, but the real show is outside, where chalk artists create breathtaking murals starting Saturday and then truly come to life on Sunday.
Pickup a New Hobby
Looking for new experiences in 2025? West Bend has you covered. What are you interested in? Maybe it’s getting out on the water with some kayaking. Pick up Axe Throwing or try an escape room. Hone your golf game with world-class simulators, or challenge your family on the minigolf course. Or, grab a paddle and start on some pickleball. If you want to try it, West Bend probably has it!
Attend a Festival in Regner Park
If there’s one thing our city is known for, it’s the full calendar of events, and no place knows that better than Regner Park. Located just a few blocks from Downtown, the park is home to community favorites like GERMANfest, the Dirty Ninja Mud Run for Kids™, Fiesta Latina, and Enchantment in the Park just to name a few!
Try some New Cuisine
You’re never too old to find a new favorite food. West Bend’s dining options span cultures with old favorites and new spins on classics. Take a night off from cooking and let West Bend make you something you’ll love.
See the Fall Colors
Take a day trip during the peak season (usually mid October), and see our city covered in fiery colors. Our favorite spots to see the autumn leaves are Ridge Run Park, Lac Lawrann Conservancy, Quaas Creek Park, and the Eisenbahn Trail. Bring your binoculars and be on the lookout for birds, including a bald eagle if you keep your eyes peeled!
Of course, there’s plenty more to explore in West Bend. If you’re looking for new adventures in 2025, this is the place to start. Here’s to a year of unforgettable experiences!
