Explore one of the Midwest’s finest local history museums. The Tower Heritage Center is located in the heart of West Bend. The Old Courthouse building dates to 1889 and is an important example of Romanesque revival architecture. The museum’s exhibits cover the history of the West Bend area from the Ice Age to modern times.
The museum has exhibits that appeal to history lovers of all ages. Kids can admire the 27-room Zinn Dollhouse, sit in a real wigwam and explore a fur trading post.
Use one of the museum’s tablets—or your phone—to view videos that complement the exhibits. The museum is also home to the Washington County Historical Society.
